Peter is the Senior Pastor of The River Christian Church in New Zealand – with churches in Pakuranga and Pukekohe, Auckland.

He is passionate about people living to their fullest potential, and walking in a powerful and real relationship with God which led him to writing his first book, The God Who’s Glad To See You, to input and invest into the area of spending regular time with God. Peter loves to see churches grow and work together across communities and cities for the advancement of God’s Kingdom, and is the chairman of the East Auckland Ministers Association (EAMA) which connects around 60 church leaders in the East Auckland area. 

A gifted worship leader, musician and songwriter, Peter spent much of his early years in ministry leading worship and worship teams in numerous churches and events around the country.    

Peter loves real coffee, watching Formula 1, and he is an avid fan of Red Bull Racing, Arsenal FC, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the television series The West Wing.  He lives in Auckland, New Zealand with his wife Annika and has three adult children.
